With the help of our community we are coming up on our 10 year anniversary this fall and ready to grow our Board of Directors.
This new chapter will focus on recruiting dedicated new board members to support Bunker Projects as we grow. In summary, Board members will serve in the following ways:
1) Sustaining patrons, offering direct financial gifts to secure a realistic operating budget.
2) Financial, legal and strategic oversight for the organization
3) Advocacy in the community helping to celebrate and spread appreciation for our programs connecting with personal networks and community ties
4) Thought leadership and direct creative contributions: We love collaborating with our board members and rely on their niche expertise to feed various innovations. Some board members may be more involved in this way than others depending on their life and schedule.
We anticipate recruiting new members a with diverse perspectives that have personal lived and professional experiences in a number of areas including but not limited to, arts & culture, finance, marketing, fundraising, business development and education. Specifically we are seeking individuals to fill the position of Treasurer and Secretary. This may be your first time on a Board of a charitable organization.
