A free event presented by Bunker Projects & Mr. Roboto - featuring works by 20 artists and collaboratives from Pittsburgh, DC, New York City, Baltimore, Richmond, Chicago, Boston, & Philadelphia.

Bunker Projects & Mr. Roboto’s first-ever Performance Art Festival is a performance piece in itself!  Audience members are exposed to a diverse collection of work while showing simultaneous performances in both venues. Participants dive into the worlds of 20 artists and collaboratives that span all mediums and topics to describe what performance art is.

In my creative work, I fracture cultural constructs such as gender, beauty, and the body politic to expose, examine, and critique their social and historical assumptions. For some time fairy tales and fantasy have inspired my imagination and curiosity about their effects on women’s roles and the construction of their identities. I also create and infiltrate the spaces between the dyad and its effects on gender, perceived beauty, and the body politic. At the intersections of various mediums, I create work that infiltrates and disrupts the cultural constructs of gender, beauty and the body politic found in fairy tales and fantasy.
