 The Shrm Troop, 6/2/17 A coming of age narrative about a group of high school misfits; The SHRM Troop forms as a neurotic, formerly-terminally-ill girl, a stripper, and the only out gay kid in class take a stoner with a secret under their wings. The SHRM Troop showcases costumes, writing, storyboards, and videos pulled from the script.  "My work exposes the sliver of magic that can be found in the everyday, turning it into a fantastical and raucous journey through symbolism. Informed by an interest in cinema and theater, these multimedia narratives are told through video, sculpture, participatory performance, and installation. A television becomes a portal, a wig becomes a curse, and a queer youth becomes a zebra as unnamed characters navigate from reality into alternate, interior dimensions."
