Bunker Projects hosted a dinner party featuring Korean food made by Phyllis Kim.
In this dinner series, Family Style, a host designs a menu based on the family favorites they grew up eating. Proceeds benefit Bunker Projects.
Bunker Projects' first print exchange!
'This Ain't My First Rodeo' featured work from 29 artists. The exchange was organized by Emma Meetz, who also made bound booklets of the prints for purchase.
Hocus Pocus, a solo exhibition of paintings by Devan Shimoyama, questioned concepts surrounding gay male sexuality and explored the location of the queer black male in contemporary society and queer politics. The paintings create a dream-like space where touch and temperature dictate the form and color of the body. Fairy tales and folklore greatly influence the narrative elements within his paintings, alluding to a creation of myth around the queer black male.
